The terms that apply when you order from us.

Who you are buying from

These terms apply to every order placed on this website with KERCOT SCALE LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, under filing number 2026-002055077, with its registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, trading as Lodestar Mint. Contact: coton640@gmail.com.

Orders

An order is placed when you complete checkout and is accepted when we send the confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order that is flagged for fraud, that was priced or described in error, or that exceeds what is left of an edition, in which case anything you paid is refunded in full.

Prices and currency

All prices are in US dollars and are charged in US dollars. The amount shown at checkout is the amount charged to your card. Shipping is free. Sales tax is applied at checkout where we are required to collect it. Import duties and taxes outside the United States are not included and are the responsibility of the customer.

Payment

Payment is taken in full on our secure checkout page, checkout.lodestar-mint.com, operated by our payment provider Slash. Charges appear on your statement as LODESTAR MINT or KERCOT SCALE LLC. If your card is in another currency, your bank sets the exchange rate and any fee.

Editions and numbering

Edition sizes are fixed and stated on each product page. Numbers are assigned in packing order and cannot be chosen or reserved. When an edition is sold out the piece is no longer available and the dies are retired.

Shipping

Delivery times on the Shipping page are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave. The Shipping page forms part of these terms.

Returns and refunds

You may return any piece within 30 days of delivery under the conditions on the Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these terms. Defective pieces are replaced or refunded at our cost.

Intellectual property

The designs of the medallions, the photographs, the text and the Lodestar Mint name belong to KERCOT SCALE LLC. You are welcome to share photos of your pieces. You may not reproduce the designs or use the name commercially without written permission.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs holds and natural events.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and the federal laws of the United States, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the place where you live. Any dispute that cannot be settled by email goes to the courts of Wyoming, unless the law of your place of residence gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page on the day you order.
