What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

This website is operated by KERCOT SCALE LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, trading as Lodestar Mint. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through it. Questions about this policy go to coton640@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you order: your name, shipping address, email address, phone number if you give one, what you bought and how much you paid. When you write to us: what you tell us. When you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you got here, in aggregated form. Your card details go directly to our payment processor over an encrypted connection and never touch our servers.

Why we use it

To take payment, ship your order, send you the confirmation and tracking emails, answer your messages, handle returns and refunds, prevent fraud, keep the site working and meet our legal obligations, including tax and accounting records. If you opt in to our list, to send you an occasional email about new pieces. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Who we share it with

Our payment processor, to charge your card and screen for fraud. The carrier that delivers your parcel. The provider that hosts this site and the one that sends our emails. Our accountant, for the records we have to keep. A public authority when the law requires it. Each of them receives only what they need for their part.

Where it is stored

Our providers store data in the United States and, for some services, in the European Union. Where data leaves the country it was collected in, we rely on the standard contractual protections our providers offer.

How long we keep it

Order records for 7 years, as accounting rules require. Support emails for 2 years after the last exchange. Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Aggregated analytics indefinitely, as they do not identify you.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted where we no longer need it, or receive a copy in a usable format. Email coton640@gmail.com and we answer within 30 days, usually much faster. If you live in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of its sale; we do not sell personal information. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Marketing emails

You only receive them if you signed up. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we post the new version here with a new date. Material changes are announced on the site before they take effect.
